Rinse Poha:
- Rinse the flattened rice (poha) under running water to remove any impurities. Drain well and set aside.

Tempering:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and asafoetida. Let the seeds splutter.
- Add finely chopped green chili and sauté briefly.

Add Poha:
- Add the rinsed and drained poha to the tempering. Mix gently to coat the poha with the tempering.

Seasoning:
- Add salt and sugar to taste. Mix well.
- Optionally, add grated coconut for added flavor.

Roasted Peanuts:
- Mix in the roasted peanuts.

Garnish and Serve:
- Add chopped coriander leaves and a squeeze of lemon juice.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Approximately 15-20 minutes.
